Maximo tones

Maximo Park's new single, 'Apply Some Pressure' is about to make history. On Feb 21st 2005, for the first time ever, you will be able to design your very own truetone live online by editing the track to create your very own, very personal version (max 30 seconds).

This will be available from the revolutionary downloads site Bleep.com, famed for offering very high quality DRM-free Mp3 downloads since it was launched by Warp in Jan 2004. Bleep is now home to nearly 50 other labels including Domino, Ninjatune/Big Dada, K7, Output, One Little Indian, Twisted Nerve, Playhouse and PIAS with more arriving every week, and has already hosted download only singles from Franz Ferdinand, Roots Manuva and Squarepusher.

Maximo Park hail from Newcastle and were snapped up by influential indie label Warp records after hearing only a couple of demos. They were blown away. 2005 looks set to be their year as their debut album ' A Certain Trigger' is now completed and the release of second single 'Apply Some Pressure' is imminent. Fans and industry alike are lapping it up.

For one week only you can custom make your own truetone for FREE before it reverts to the standard price of 3 pounds. The ringtone can be bought via text, credit/debit card payment, paypal or IVR (interactive voice response) at link.

Editing your own ringtone will be incredibly easy. Developed in association with Faspay Technologies Inc, the ringtone creating software will have exactly the same ease of use that Bleep has become famous for. Webuser, the UK's biggest selling internet magazine, rated Bleep a whopping 5/5!

The release of this coincides with Maximo Park's single release proper – Feb 21st. Over the next few weeks Bleep intends to offer the editable truetone service to its entire catalogue.
