Klaxons Apologise For Ticket C**k-Up

Klaxons would like to apologise on behalf of SJM and Ticketline for the cock-up that led to some fans with tickets being unable to get into last night's show at Manchester Ritz. A full explanation from SJM and advice on how to be remibursed below:

The problem occurred as a result of SEE tickets recieving and sending out the wrong ticket stock which came from Ticketline (Piccadilly Box Office), for 600 matinee tickets. These tickets were printed with all the information on for the evening show, meaning 600 extra tickets were in circulation for the evening. In order to remedy this all tickets for the evening show were made invalid and replaced with SEE ticket stock from Tuesday onwards. Ticket agents emailed, wrote to or called effected ticket holders for both shows to inform them. The vast majority of these had already swapped their tickets in advance of the evening shows and a further 100 or so had arranged for them to be swapped on the door. We knew that the exchange was working for most as all the agents were fielding calls and making arrangements to exchange tickets last week.

We would like to apologise to any genuine ticket holders who did not get in. If anyone had a valid ticket for either show but was not let in, we ask that in the first instance they should contact the ticket agent from who they bought tickets with ticket numbers and booking reference. The ticket agent will then be able to check if tickets were sent out and how they slipped through the net. It would also be apprecited if people taking up the issue with a ticket agent could email us at mail as they would like to monitor any complaints made.
