Amy Winehouse falls asleep during interview

Amy Winehouse reportedly dropped off to sleep three times during an interview with a U.S magazine last month.

During the interview with Jody Rosen, Winehouse was mentioned to be slurring her words and rambling incoherently. When questioned about using drugs, she replied “I don’t have the time” as well as mentioning she hadn’t taken any since her overdose in August. when questioned about on being alcoholic she commented “I don’t know. I’m a really big drinker. I used to be there before the pub opened, banging on the door.”

At one point in the interview after she had woke, Amy apologized to Rosen saying “Oh God, What is wrong with me? There’s something wrong with me I’m just really drowsy at the moment. I’m so sorry!” According to her manager, Raye Cosbert, Winehouse was on prescription drugs which made her feel drowsy.

Interviewer, Jody Rosen speculated that “Amy has never exactly been a picture of health, but tonight she looks especially worse for wear – Hunched, heavy lidded and just frail… Now her words are slurred, her eyelids drooping. Her head wobbles into a nod. She falls asleep for a second, wakes up with a start, mutters and drops off again.” Which no doubt shows signs of concern towards the vocalist. She also made note of “The smoldering cigarette in her left hand falls to the floor.” Adding visual description of the artist’s semi-conscious state.
