The Rifles – I could Never Lie

Just because something isn’t original doesn’t mean it isn’t good. On their new single, The Rifles stick to the tried and tested method which has consistently served them well, and guess what, it works again.

‘I Could Never Lie’ is a simple no-frills uplifting indie song, which will get festival crowds dancing this summer. The Rifles never threaten to break from their established style, and when they have the genre pretty much sussed they have no need to do anything different. A fine summer song to add to The Rifles’ scrapbook.
