Armies Of You – Girls Play Games

Armies Of You are a five piece Indie Rock Pop group from Cardiff. They already have support slots with the likes of Mumm-Ra and The Steers behind them and were one of the few UK bands invited to play at the NXNE festival in the Canada last year.

They are currently working on their debut album, but the tracks they have put together so far suggest this band is in for big things. Lead singer J provides Bowie-like vocals but is complemented by each member of the band providing back up vocals which creates subtle depth. The guitars are used well to either create a driving dance melody for their upbeat indie pieces complete with catchy chorus or atmospheric rifts for the rockier tracks.

Any one of the tracks they currently have on offer could pass as a decent single, and with more being recorded it shouldn’t be long before Armies Of You are making their mark on the charts.
