Viarosa – Send For The Sea

The sound on this album has been cut so finely it could almost be mistaken for a live recording. It lends itself to the atmosphere of this second album from Viarosa. There is some extravagant celtic and even psychadelic musing going on throughout, building on what seemed to be a well received first album. ‘Send for the Sea’ can only work further wonders for such an ecclectic group of musicians.

It is predominatly an accoustical venture, with some inspired Violin/Viola to guide the way. The racket of electric guitar is kept to a minimum, the band opting for eerie atmosphere in its basics instead to morph each song. It all makes for a fittingly autumn feel.
