Ayah Marar – My Spy

Jordanian Ayah is a new sensation in British music. Working closely with both Calvin Harris and Jack Penate she is definitely an up and coming talent and as her summer schedule shows, extremely in demand.

This single ‘My Spy’ is quite formulaic in its simple lyrics, distorted guitar and synthetic bass. Her voice sounds current and very fashionable, fitting in with many other female artists at large in the British music industry currently.

She comes across as jazzy and soulful, with her voice powering through the song and it would be great to hear acoustically or live. All in all, this is definitely a strong single from somebody we’re going to hear a lot more of in the coming months.
