The Kills/ London Hates You – Tape Song

The Kills Tape Song has kept their distinctive sound, but this song is particularly reminiscent of The Pixies. With the rhythm building until it gets to the chorus and then dropping back down again. It seems a little formulaic, but it still holds your attention, with the strength of the lyrics and the vocals.

London Hates You has got a slower feel to it, it comes across as a sort of anti ballad, with the lyrics being quite aggressive while the music remains mellow.
