Royalty: Erotica

After garnering much underground support for the 'Royalty' and 'Purple Nights' EPs, London production duo Royalty are back with their slick new single 'Eroica', due for digital release July 16th on Five Easy Pieces with a limited run of 300 coloured vinyl to follow soon after.

'Eroica' is a bitter-sweet banger where Royalty's trademark colourful analogue synth work and 80's throwback drums underpin a hazy ethereal vocal from the excellent Kissey Asplund. Both delicate and driving, this track sits well both on dancefloors and in the cans, with an equally stylish video by talented director Ben Soper thrown in the works.

'Vector Glide' is a more muscular, heavy hitting instrumental that soundtracks a super spy parachute gliding over the night time cityscape on an ejector seat.

With the 'Eroica' instrumental on offer as well, coupled with an elegant aquamarine ballad of a remix from Royalty's own Elliott Yorke this record follows the tradition and high standard of the Royalty's previous work, showcasing their diversity and unique sound in the modern electronic music scape.
