The Tunnel Trailer

In 2007 the New South Wales government suddenly and inexplicably abandoned a project to recycle water found in the disused train tunnels beneath Sydney, despite being in the midst of serious drought.

Convinced of a government cover-up, journalist Natasha (Bel Deliá) and her team Peter Ferguson (Andy Rodoreda), Steve Miller (Steve Davies) and Jim Williams (Luke Arnaldo) descended into the subterranean labyrinth of the city, unaware that the hunt for a story had made them the hunted.

Watch their harrowing ordeal, with unprecedented access to the recently declassified tapes shot in the claustrophobic subway tunnels, as well as a series of candid interviews with the survivors and CCTV. Feel the fear tear the crew apart as they negotiate the darkness against an unknown predator.

Directed by Carlo Ledesma (The Last One, Food Matters, Locked, The Haircut), and produced by Enzo Tedeschi and Julian Harvey, The Tunnel is part of the 135k Project, a crowd-‐funding initiative that invites film fans to buy individual digital frames from films in pre-production to fund the costs of production. The aim of 135k Films is to make movies unencumbered by box office constraints.

Set for release on DVD in the UK on 6th August, The Tunnel is a consuming and claustrophobic thriller, a highlight in the found-footage genre.
