Background:

Return of the Jedi get the third model of this second installment of the buildable galaxy series. Yes we are on the forest moon of Endor where the resident Cuddle bears charge a full on assault against the imperial forces. Thankfully the little furry ones have plenty of “Rebel Scum” to aid in their effort. But what out for those imposing AT-ST’s!

Building:

This one is a shear marvel. It isn’t a ship, but it does stand awkwardly on two legs and walk around the forest.  The design of the AT-ST in miniature form is fascinating. The main head itself comes together in a way you may not quite expect, but the leg struts themselves are fairly sturdy. This perhaps was a braver choice for Lego to pick than perhaps the Speeder Bike.

Finished Product:

This one possibly takes the prize as best of the three new sets. Sure the pilot isn’t as much of a cult fav as Lobot, but the AT-ST is right up there in design. (seriously we are not very excited as to the remaining planets and what ships associated with them they will pick!). All of the choices made for this part of the series have been a huge step up from the first batch – and the pieces count has also risen – if still on the higher end of value.
