Glasswerk Sessions – Lauren Shera

Here’s a beautiful new acoustic session shot in Hyde Park, London from Californian songstress Lauren Shera who performs ‘Light and Dust’.

Part Joni Mitchell, part Neil Young, this is a retro Americana sound with a haunting difference that combines old English folk with a knowing modernism.

The track is taken from her forthcoming album ‘Gold and Rust’ due for release on 8th September 2014 on DigSin, ten beautiful songs serving as Lauren’s swansong to her home state of California. She wrote the album knowing she was about to leave and move to Nashville, where she’s now based.
