Introducing: Will Mussett

He’s just announced his debut album ‘November Storm’ will be released early next year, so what better time to get acquainted with Brighton singer songwriter Will Mussett.

The 21 year-old cites Jeff Buckley and Paolo Nutini as major influences and the majority of his material is spent referencing a young man’s discovery of love and loss, the nature of changing cycles of relationships and the reflection of our own thoughts and feelings.

Raw, expressive and touchingly honest, there’s less of the swagger of Ed Sheeran and more of the down-tempo indie rock of Elliott Smith present in this promising young talent’s sound, with the launch of his debut a home-town affair at Will’s favourite live venue.
