Big Country Announce Small-Scale Gigs

Big Country have announced two small gigs to warm up for the Chemsford/Stafford V Festivals.

Wrexham Central Station (August 18th) and Lincoln Engine Shed (August 19th) are the venues for the shows, with Tony Butler of the band commenting: “This is a really exciting time for the band. We have recently been working on new material and have recorded a single with Steve Lillywhite. These ’vibe’ gigs give an opportunity to road test the new songs before recording them for a new album. Its important that we play new songs in, it is what we did before, not changing that now. These gigs will be intimate and experimental, real one offs.”
