Mumford & Sons Announce Footy Charity Gig

Folk-blokes Mumford & Sons have announced details of a one-off charity gig in order to raise funds for football club AFC Wimbledon.

The band will perform at the New Wimbledon Theatre on May 9th, with all proceeds going to the club that are struggling financially, although are on the brink of returning to the football league.

A statement read that the band were “only too happy to oblige” with the event.
