Foo Fighters' Taylor Hawkins has revealed that he does not support the release of the band's new documentary – stating that he is not “comfortable” with its release.
Hawkins told NME.com: “I wish we wouldn't put the f**king movie out to be honest because I'm not really comfortable with the public sort of openness, I'm really not.”
Whilst he agrees that the documentary will offer fans a real portrayal of the band, it is obvious that he wishes some aspects of the band's turbulent last 5 years – including the band almost breaking up – remained private.
The documentary was released yesterday in the U.S. in 80 cinemas, and is planned to be screened on VH1.
