Jessie J Debut Album Release Date Moved Forward A Month

Due to phenomenal public demand Island Records are moving the release of Jessie J’s debut album “Who We Are” a whole month forward to the new release date of Monday February 28th.

Fully embracing the new digital age Jessie’s new single “Price Tag” was released just 48 hours ago, the moment the video went online and the single was taken to radio. It has already rocketed straight to #1 on i-tunes and the midweek charts, with views of the video already topping over a million on YouTube. Her debut single “Do It Like A Dude” is still in the top 10 where it has been lodged for the past month.

Jessie is currently approving final mixes and racing to get the album available at the soonest possible date (February 28th). It is extremely rare to bring forward an album, the last act to do so was Take That who brought their latest album “Progress” forward a week last year.

“Stomp Stomp, I’ve arrived” was Jessie’s battle cry from her debut single ‘Do It Like A Dude’ which smashed straight into the UK charts and peaked at Number 2 in both the National Chart and the I Tunes chart, already selling over a staggering 300,000 copies. The video became an instant internet phenomenon and has received over 13 million hits on You Tube to date. Jessie is also the proud new winner of both the coveted Critics Choice Brit Award and BBC Sound Of 2011 Poll, an amazing double hit for a brand new artist.

The album is available to pre-order now.
