London quartet, The Good Suns have announced that their debut single release will be a double A-side featuring Shadow and At Last I’m Bored, due out on 14th February.
Shadow, their roof raising set closer, is an ode to departed and dear friends whilst At Last I’m Bored is an ideal showcase for their trademark infectious harmonies, and is the type of track that gives you more and more on every listen.
To two tracks, penned by the songwriting partnership of James Hearn and Bobby McBrierty, show off two very different talents as drummer Greg Sullivan explains:
At Last I'm Bored is the perfect Bobby song, it's a great glimpse into his songwriting pallet and a perfect showcase for the harmonies that have almost come to define us. Shadow, written by James, has been already been pleasing fans old and new at recent gigs – so much so that it's become our set closer.
This is the first thing we've officially released so we hope it gives people a little insight in to what we're about and lay the groundwork for what's to come. We're as excited about the songs as we were when we recorded them last year and we hope new listeners will take to the recording as much as others have taken to it live.
The Good Suns provide visceral guitar pop of the highest order. Shadow / At Last I’m Bored is self-released on 14th February.
