Introducing… Being Jo Francis

Being Jo Francis are not your average band. The exciting 3 piece have recently decamped to Liverpool from Coventry, and after only 4 short months have already made waves within the most famous musical city in the world. With a ferociously brilliant and diverse sound that is hard to pigeon hole, they are not concerned with scenes, and hype but are instead quickly blasting their own way onto a crowded but bustling Liverpool music scene.

With an aggressive indie rock sound, that is as exhilarating during it's quieter moments as it is during it's heaviest, they have been blowing audiences away at venues across the city, including The Zanzibar, Bad Format, Mello Mello and MOJO.

With influences as wide ranging as Radiohead, People In Planes, Oceansize and Manchester Orchestra their sound is brilliantly expansive, and have been described as 'Foals meets Biffy Clyro.' Quickly becoming renowned for hugely kinetic and raucous live shows, the 3 piece are highly dedicated musicians with a water tight and polished live sound.

Continuing to gig across the North West, the three piece are planning to enter the studio in the New Year and 2011 is set to be a very exciting year for 'Being Jo Francis.'
