On November 15th, Domino is to release Black Hole: a compilation celebrating the first wave of California Punk that flourished between 1977 and 1980, compiled by esteemed writer, Jon Savage.
To coincide with this release Jon Savage will be in conversation with the journalist Alexis Petridis at Rough Trade East in London on the 17th November. Jon will be playing some of his favourite songs from that period from 6.30pm onwards and will then be answering questions about the compilation.
Entrance is by wristband only. Wristbands will be given away with each copy of the album purchased instore.
Black Hole will be released on CD (WIGCD264) and via digital download (WIG264D).

Jon Savage is a leading UK based writer and cultural historian. He has written widely for British and American newspapers and magazines on music, pop culture and social history. His book England’s Dreaming: Sex Pistols and Punk Rock (1993) won the Ralph J. Gleason Book Award and his most recent book, Teenage: The Creation of Youth 1875–1945, was published to great acclaim. His film and television credits include the BAFTA award-winning documentary The Brian Epstein Story (1998) and Joy Division (2007), a history of group, time and place.
