Boy George Could Face Jail Term

The jury in the Boy George escort trial entered their little room yesterday to consider their verdict, returning this morning, having decided that the singer is guilty.

In case you've not been following the story here's an update: male escort Auden Carlsen accuses George of falsely imprisoning and assaulting him at the singer's Shoreditch flat last year. George claims that he only ever hit Carlsen as part of a sex game, and that he handcuffed him to stop him leaving his flat during an argument over the singer's belief the escort had hacked his computer and stolen some photos off it.

George will be sentenced in the New Year but has been told he could face a jail term.
