Glastonbury: Highlights and Lowlights

It's all over for another year and reports are slowly 'flooding' in. Unfortunately most festival-goers are still to recover fully from the experience and have sent us only their memories of the wild weekend. Here's what we can make out from reports so far. More detailed offerings to follow. If you can expand on any of these rumours or sightings please get in touch and let us know what you thought should be included in this list.

What looks to be one the main highlights of the whole festival was the performance by Arcade Fire on Friday. “Out of this world” says Chris Watson, our beleaguered frontline reporter.

The Manics were joined on stage by Cardigans lead singer Nina Persson

The Who were by all accounts “F***ing Amazin” with a proud Michael Eavis watching on from the wings.

Liverpool bands Peter and the Wolf perform royally on The Park Stage as did Alterkicks on the Late N Live stage. The Wombats played a rousing set at The Queens Head and continue to win over more and more fans.

The PA wasn't great for the Killers set or the Artic Monkeys who's cover of Diamonds Are Forever was a real stand-out track.
