Brits Ignored by Arctic Monkeys

Arctic Monkeys will film the video for their new single next week rather than attend the Brit Awards, they have confirmed.

The Sheffield sensation are nominated for two awards at this year's ceremony but have no plans to go because they're too busy.
Apparently work is ongoing on the promo film for comeback single “Brainstorm”, meaning they will not be at the Brits for the second consecutive year.
Drummer Matt Helders explained: “We're filming the video that day, so we're not going to be anywhere near it.

“We haven't snubbed it, we're just busy boys getting ready to go on tour again”, he told the BBC.

Arctic Monkeys are scheduled to release their new album, “Favourite Worst Nightmare”, on April 23.
