This August sees the return of Dashboard Confessional with a brand new single and a short UK tour, with a little help from an arachnid superhero.

The single 'Vindicated' will be released by Vagrant, through Mercury
Records, on the 23rd August 2004. 'Vindicated' is a brand new track from Dashboard Confessional that is the lead track from the biggest movie of the summer Spider-man 2! The video sees a great performance from the bandm interspersed with scenes from the blockbuster film. Dashboard Confessional have been performing the song on their recent US tour where it has been
going down a storm as part of the encore. The single will be released on two CD formats.

Dashboard Confessional, fronted by the enigmatic Chris Carrabba, are a phenomenon waiting to happen in the UK. Initially a solo project, the meteoric rise of one of America's most eloquent bands is littered with accounts that are almost folklore, of kids who have queued for hours, selling out entire venues and singing along with Carrabba, word for word, note for note. Their latest album 'A Mark. A Mission. A Brand. A Scar.' received widespread acclaim and alongside their stunning live performances Dashboard Confessional are force to be reckoned with. August also sees the band perform a handful of shows in the UK including a slot on the NME stage at the V Festival.

Though labelled as the Kings of “Emo”, Dashboard Confessional stand head and shoulders above their peers in a scene that is rapidly becoming saturated with dissonant noise. They represent something more, just ask the fans.
