Laruso – Plain Paper Napkins

Plain paper Napkins shows that Laruso have taken influences from bands including Taking Back Sunday, Fightstar, with a bit of Lost Prophets and blended them together to make their own sound. Although they are not extremely distinctive, I think they will probably fit in well to the current metal scene. Plain Paper Napkins seems like a strange choice for a single as they definitely have stronger songs, so it may not be fair to judge them solely on this track. They have already gained the support of Kerrang and worked with Primal Scream’s Duncan Mackay. Definitely worth a listen.
