La Roux – In For The Kill

In For The Kill is the second single from the, much hyped, electro duo La Roux. Taking its reference points from the synth driven pop of Yazoo, the track is a fast paced pop gem. Ellie Jackson’s enchanting vocals are the clear focal point here, perfectly backing the shimmering layers of crisp, melodic keyboards. The only way to justify hype is to deliver the goods, lets just hope they can keep this standard up.
