Attack! Attack! – You and me

Attack! Attack! hail from Wales. Which in itself is not a bad thing. The problem is that every modern Welsh band seems intent on either musically or vocally sounding American. In the case of new single ‘You and Me’ it’s both.

The vocals sound so much like Fall Out Boy the band may as well give up on being a band in their own right and just settle for being a Fall Out Boy tribute band. The chorus is pretty good in a bland lowest common denominator way but its the awful Emo singing voice that really, really lets the side down, grating relentlessly throughout the whole song.

If you think Pete Wentz is literally God you are going to have a lot of fun with ‘You and Me’. If you like to think you have an ounce of credibility (whether its justified or not) steer well clear. You will want to damage someone.
