Immune –

Immune are making a brave effort to inject themselves into the americana teen rock market…. but haven’t we heard it all by now? Opening track ‘Adrift’ is a prime example of how generic they seem to want to be. But following track ‘Tainted’ -whilst smelling a bit too much like Linkin Park- does have a few atmospheric highlights.

It’s probably wise that they make each song sound as different as possible. It does make for a hit and miss factor, but alot of the problems lay in the rather dull (if loud) guitar riffs that are entirley uninspired. ‘Radiant’ again seems to show the band actually trying to do a bit of music and song writing, but is let down by a cut and paste rock chorus.
