A Silent Film – Sleeping Pills

A Silent Film hail from the record label Xtra Mile Recordings who are home to the loveable Maybes and The Rifles. So expect some impressive stuff from this lot.

‘Sleeping Pills’ is a light and airy but compact and creative track. ‘Is that a gun or a violin’…just one of the classic lines embedded in this song.

A Silent Film are quite reminiscent of Keane…only better, with equally as good lyrics and sound but with a little more punch, giving you something to dance with.

They take their influences and inspiration from, wait for it…the silent film era, to help them to come up with their artful music. Glastonbury is the perfect place this year for them to let everybody enjoy their music, as the BBC just recently invited them to play. Good work boys!
