'Amsterdam Is In England' Shocker!
Local band Amsterdam have very recently done a deal with successful London independent label Superior Quality. The label has great experience in putting out class music by a variety of bands including The Bluetones, King Adora and Geneva.
The first single will now not be released until January of next year to give it the best possible chance of doing well. The band shall be announcing which song will be the single very shortly but meantime the gang are going to do two big celebratory shows to which everyone is invited!
The first will be on Friday 3rd October where the guys will play at the Honky Tonk night which is held at the Liverpool Zanzibar club. Tickets for this night will be an incredible SIX pounds! A week later on Friday 10th October Amsterdam will play for what may now well be the last ever time at the famous Borderline club in London's Soho. Details on how to obtain tickets for both shows will be announced very shortly; plus a third celebratory show may also take place. The band want you to join in the party with them!
Amsterdam will also undertake a full British tour to promote the single during the release week early next year. There is also a gallery of new photos to enjoy on the new-look website and a mailing list that users can subscribe to to ensure that you are first to hear updates regarding the band.
