Fat Northener Records
A collective of existing Manchester Music Industry Management, Manchester based Musicians and A & R have joined forces in developing a new on-line record label. Fat Northerner Records is an on-line record label providing a network of opportunities in the support and development of Manchester based bands, artists, DJ's and visual artists. Fat Northerner Records strikes with the launch of the label in partnership with their first Showcase night. The launch will be held at Jabezz Clegg on Thursday 8th May 03.
Initially home to four of Manchester's most exciting bands Slims, Earl, Parma Violets and Pioneers the launch will include live sets from the above bands together with live graffiti and visuals from dabl256, Daredevil Designs and The Munkee from Uncle. In addition DJ sets from Dunc-le-Chunk, DJ Deval, Seanvinylment and special guest Guy Garvey (Elbow) will leave the night both 'Phat' and 'Northern'.
