Radio 1 On The Road
Radio 1 and it's websites OneMusic and One Life are travelling up to Bolton for a weekend of shows and events from March 28th. Sara Cox, Mark & Lard, Judge Jules and the Sunday Surgery will all be broadcasting live from the Life café bar and in between programmes there'll be plenty going on for music makers. Steve Lamacq will be in town to listen to demos, Judge Jules will be talking about releasing dance tracks, and experts will be on hand to talk music making, money, contracts, and business. Work at Radio 1
Radio 1 and BBC Talent have just launched their search for three Music Masters to come and work at the station for one year – there's contracts available to work on Trevor Nelson, Pete Tong and John Peel's shows. Naturally the station is looking for people who seriously know their music but radio experience is unnecessary – full on the job training will be given.
