The Bandits …. On The Run

Following on from their top 40 singles triumph with the staggeringly cool 'Take it and Run', The Bandits seem set to scale even greater chart heights with the release of the excellent '2 Step Rock'. Showing the diversity of these lads '2 Step Rock is a big fat slice of rock as the lads put down the washboards and whack on the overdrive pedals.

The single is launched on September 8th via their own Centro del Blanco label through B – Unique Records, the single will be available on two CDs and limited edition 7″.

As if that isn't enough for their growing army of fans the debut album entitled “And They Walked Away” is set for release on 22nd September. Produced by the legendary Chris Kimsey (The Rolling Stones, Jimmy Cliff, Killing Joke, Ash). Full details of the album will be announced shortly.

As well as their chart success, the band recently crowned their last run of UK Touring with a storming set at Glastonbury as well as equally impressive shows at T in the Park and Witness. Two prestigious supports for Paul Weller in Liverpool and Aberdeen kick start the next stage of touring, featuring appearances at both Reading and Leeds on the 23rd and 24th August respectively.
