New Birkenhead Gig Night

'Kick Out The Jams' is an indie night which will take place at Stairways venue, Oliver Street, Birkenhead on Sat 27 Sep 2003. This will then become a monthly event on the last Saturday of each month.

The night will consist of 4 bands, 2 indie DJs and the whole thing is sponsored by “The Pool” on KCR106.7fm. Dave Monks from 'The Pool' will be playing songs from the appearing artists on his sunday show on the run up to the gig and will also compere the evening.

The four bands appearing are:

Pure9
The Aeroplanes
Cabletwitch
Optimus Prime

The night kicks off at 8.30pm, first band on stage at 9pm. Each band has a half hour set with a 15 minute changeover, the DJs will play indie sounds between bands and then for the last 2 hours from 12 till 2pm.

Its £4 admission.
