CAN YOU FEEL IT? LIVERPOOL HAS THE HEEBIE JEEBIES

After a four-year long wait- the re-launch of Heebie-Jeebies is finally upon us. Luring all guest-listed minstrels, curious and the down right dirty into a night of debauchery and mirth. The launch of Heebie-Jeebies as it always should have been; filthy decadence, bohemian surrealism and seductive shenanigans cocooned in an erupting reverie of inebriated high jinks.

Unbolting the doors, Heebie-Jeebies will be unleashed onto the fervent crowd at 9:00pm on the 18th September 2003. Parading a heavy, animated line up of internationally acclaimed bands. The night will open with DJ sets from Joe Fearon (DJ support for The Coral), and Clint Boon (Inspiral Carpets) & Andy Rourke (Smiths) mixed with the potent home grown talent of Liverpool band Hayley’s Cake, followed by John Peel and Steve Lamaq favourites the Crane Builders, and Hilda Strange a 6 piece punk rock/pop band from Manchester displaying their, Clash/Blondie/Queens Of The Stone Age influences.

The performances culminate with the psychedelic show stoppers by Nylon Pylon – who are revelling in the electronic dizzy heights of British and transatlantic fame.

Revellers will be welcomed by mock courtesans and greeted with free liquor warming them up for a night of exotic rhapsody. Kooky voodoo pianists, palm readers, heady frolics and an orgy of music… not for the faint hearted, this is a night that will be indelibly imprinted on the lucky, lucky people who will be part of the incarnation that is the launch of Heebie-Jeebies!
