Fat Northerner Records are putting on an event in Glasgow – “Musicworks”. Its the 2nd International Cross-Media Music Convention to take place and it runs from Wednesday 29 October to Saturday 1 November 2003 at the new stylish city centre Radisson SAS Hotel Glasgow UK.
800 opinion formers and music and creative industry professionals will converge on Glasgow for three days of seminars, exhibitions and live music. and yes, you guessed it, The Fat Northerner Crew will be putting on a top showcase with the highlight bands from this years shows.
We are holding this night at Blackfriars from 7pm – 12pm on Thursday 30th October and featuring, Earl, Slims, Pioneers, Nizlopi and a surprise DJ. This will probably be the last event of 2003, and it is going to be the best yet.
After an unbelievable launch night at Jabez Clegg and an amazing showcase at In The City. The event is free to all, both delegates and the public, and get there early to get free CDs and T-shirts.
Other news is that Earl, one of the bands on fat Northerner are playing the Academy on 4th November for Lamacq In The City.. supporting The Kills.
Tracks by the artists should be released in China very soon, final preparations are being made!! Gigs will be following shortly over in the PRC.
A Fat Northerner Christmas Do is planned for December, with bands, DJs, visuals and friends.. will keep you posted.
