An innovative new music night hit the Hard Rock Café in Nottingham last week and all local bands and musicians were invited to come along and take part.
Acoustic Alchemy, the brainchild of musical entrepreneur Chris Dunn, will celebrated its first night in Nottingham on Sunday 11 October.
The evening is a dedicated “open mike night” where bands and musicians can come along and play live acoustic sets from 8.30pm until 2am every Sunday night in the city.
Entrance is free to the Hard Rock Café and with great bar and food offers, it is a perfect place to relax and end the weekend listening to, or taking part in, Acoustic Alchemy.
As an added incentive to musicians, the evening will incorporate a rolling competion with studio time and musical equipment up for grabs.
Founder Chris Dunn said: “Acoustic music is my first love and it is one which I share with many other musicians.
This dedicated weekly session will give us the chance to come together, listen and appreciate each other’s music, share ideas and above all, give us a platform upon which to perform.
I hope that many musicians and members of the public will come along and enjoy the evening and that it will be given the support to establish itself as one of the premier music nights in Nottingham.”
