On The Skive
After September's successful launch The Friday Skive returns to The Masque
Bar on Friday 31st October. This is the ideal way to kick off your weekend,
whether looking for a place to hang out whilst unwinding over coffee or you
have finished work early and would like to watch live music over a lunch
time pint then this is a must destination for you. This month will see an
acoustic sets from The Aeroplanes and Emma Longworth as well as the open mic
throughout the afternoon were anyone is welcome to get up and give us a
song.
With delicious cheap food on sale served by The Melting Pot the setting is
perfect to unwind after a hard working week and plan the rest of your
weekend. Bands wishing to perform at the event will also be able to submit
their material into a demo bank. Organisations such as Musicbias and LIPA
will also be attending to provide advice and information on opportunities
within the music industry. So get yourself down to The Friday Skive @ The
Masque and spread the word that “The weekend starts here”.
