Its The Future – The Futureheads

The Futureheads follow their acclaimed second single ‘First Day’ (which narrowly missed a Top 40 placing when released on Fantastic Plastic back in July) by going digital in some style for their third single release.

New single ‘A to B’ will hit the band’s official website link on 27th October, towards the end of their biggest UK tour yet, which kicked off in Birmingham on 6th October.

The track will be accompanied by fully downloadable artwork, so The Futureheads growing army of fans can download the full single experience into their living rooms, absolutely gratis.

The band are also very pleased to announce that they signed a major long-term worldwide record deal with 679 Recordings (home to The Streets) on Monday 22nd September. They celebrated by drinking far too much (Dave threw up) and partying at London nightspot Trash until the early hours of Tuesday 23rd…

You really cannot afford to miss them when they tour in October – UK dates (including a handful of lucky towns well-off the usual gigging radar) are as follows:

14/10 COLCHESTER SOUNDHOUSE
15/10 BRISTOL LOUISIANA
16/10 LEICESTER CHARLOTTE
17/10 MIDDLESBROUGH CORNERHOUSE
18/10 DUNDEE WESTPORT BAR
