Happy Bithday Glasswerk

Its Ye Birthday, Get Busy, Get Freaky – Go On, There Is Cake

Wow it has only been two small years since the inception and creation of new music media company Glasswerk Media. Since the lowly beginnings of a launch party at the Slaughter House complete with Kwik Save bread rolls and armed with only half a website, Glasswerk has –

• Become the main promoter of music in Liverpool with weekly Thursday @ the Masque.
• Expanded into Manchester, Wales and Nottingham with regional websites and gig nights.
• Promoted several tours for upcoming bands including Cadium, Tramp Attack, Ohm, White Buffalo and Norwegian band Kite
• Continued to expand its coverage with the imminent launch of Glasswerk London on December 1st and the soon to be announced Glasswerk Birmingham.
• Put out a some interesting compilation releases on CD

The future looks exciting for Glasswerk as their good name continues to spread around the country and to celebrate their transition from baby to toddler there will be a Party at the Masque on the 6th November featuring 5 bands from around the Glasswerk.co.uk regions and some cake. Don’t forget the CAKE. There will also be some Limited Edition FREE CDs as give aways on the night. You can’t say fairer than that can you?

Playing on the night are:

Remedy – Indie country rock with toe tapping melodies
Weaver – Birmingham based Rock
Iconoclast – Liverpool’s favourite band bring some psychedelic rock to the stage
INDRA – the best new band in Manc. Dark, messy, ugly, beautiful music. Radiohead meets Elbow meets Massive Attack.
Lovecraft – Newly signed to Spank Records – dare I say it Joy Division? Nah I won’t see them for yourselves.

Doors are at the unusually early time of 7pm with a monstrous £4 entry fee (includes CD and Cake). Plus DJ sets from the loveable Cadium and Day With Mary. Be early.
