GLASSWERK BEST OF 2003 – comp closes 12th December

The competition closes at 5pm 12th December. So far there have been over 3000 votes and if you want your favourite band to get on it they will need more than 100 votes easily. So get your skates on.

It’s that time of year again when the music press look back over the year and decide what was special, what was innovative, what sold a load of CDs and what got down and dirty. We here at the Glasswerk Hovel are no different and so we ask you, the people, to choose which bands have floated your boat and tickled your fancy in the last 12 months. Simply pick a band, click enter and you’re away. You have voted. The top ten bands with the most votes get to appear on this years Glasswerk.co.uk best of compilation distributed through the website and in various record stores around the country for a disturbingly cheap price. More of these details will be released nearer the time.
Last years Glasswerk.co.uk best of 2002 CD was a huge success. So much so that the CDs sold out quicker than we could shift them and some people still remained CD less. At only £1 it would have been everyone’s favourite stocking filler if it had been released before Christmas. Anyhoo this years is going to be bigger, better, louder and about the same price. It will be distributed in all Glasswerk areas (basically half the country) so make sure your favourite band or the band you think deserves to be on the CD gets your vote.
For now all you have to do is VOTE.
Pick a band…any band.
