mia :documentary (Time Records) ALBM LAUNCH PARTY

The stunning debut album from mia is finally here. :documentary “takes the listener on a hypnotic aural adventure” (BBCRadio1). This is an album that has been talked up and down the country and has more recently been creating the right kind of attention in the states.
Nottingham based mia have recorded a sublime album that touches on acoustic melodies, electronic wizardry and guitar heaven. Standout tracks include the catchy single “Unconditional” and the retro electro that is “Geek Chic”, the epic instrumental “Candida” blends eerie choirs and distortion, and the old Glen Campbell favourite “Wichita Lineman” adds warmth and familiarity.
mia are launching the album at The Social, Nottingham on Monday 10th November. A full live set also includes support acts El Cielo and scratch masters “Kids In Tracksuits”. Merchandise will be on sale including the album and debut single “Unconditional”. Doors open at 8pm and is free entry to all.
