Glasswerk Manchester Christmas Bash

In association with VmanEvents, Glasswerk Manchester’s Christmas gig is a veritable mulled wine alco pop slice of sumptuous plum pudding. Featuring the biggest thing to come out of Manchester since The Stone Roses and championed by the evergreen Clint Boon (released their first single on Booney Tunes), Nylon Pylon shake their hips down to the Jabez Clegg on the 18th December.

Pylon continue their assault on the world of Pop. In-between upstaging the likes of The Music, The Ravonettes & The Faint, Nylon Pylon have been busy recording their debut album and its now complete and will be launched after a couple of singles. Believe us this band are about to give the music world such a well needed kick up the arse!!

We have it on good authority that you can expect to hear several new Pylon tunes at this gig. An electro-guitar based sound full of cheeky acid stabs, melancholically minor harmonies, and bass rumbles. Best band in Manchester? Most definitely.

Supporting are Karmakops – a band who have been raising eye brows all of their own after a storming debut at ITC this year. They have recently supported The Stereophonics – not bad for their fourth gig. As ever the usual barometer on all things cool, Drowned in Sound, are shouting the plaudits of this band from all available roof tops.

Doors 8pm-2am with Club Moose Djs till late.
