Feeder's momentous 2003:

In February and March, Feeder played to over 60,000 fans on a sold out national tour. Subsequently, the band played arenas of Europe with Coldplay and competed successful set of North American dates – their first for four years. Feeder's summer featured performances at Move, T In The Park, and continued with performances at Slane Castle, the headlining slot of the NME stage at V2003 and a string of shows in Europe with REM.

Both Feeder's fourth album 'Comfort In Sound' and its predecessor 'Echo Park' have achieved platinum status (over 300,000 copies sold) in the UK this year. 'Comfort In Sound's success (it has currently sold approaching 500,000 copies), buoyed by this year's massive airplay singles 'Just The Way I'm Feeling', 'Forget About Tomorrow' and 'Find The Colour', has indelibly burnt the band onto the British public's consciousness, a fact further cemented by the band's fast-selling first ever arena tour. It is plain to see that 2003 will be remembered as the year during which Feeder truly became a national treasure.
