Blowout hit 2004 with some spanking line-ups. Have a gander at this:
————————————-Blowout——————————————————–
——–Friday 9th January— 9pm – 1am. Three Pounds entry——————–
——Chorlton Irish Club. High Lane. Chorlton. 0161 881 2898——————
Live !Sunday International + Nathan Burton + Blowout DJs.1st Band 9.30.
———————————————————————————————————
Sunday International – An unquestionably Mancunian enigma. Formed
2 years ago, 'Sunday International' live performances are a rarity to
behold. Recent events have seen the launch of their self penned
'678 copyright free band names' , a clothing range ,and numerous
self released EPs. Musically they are equal parts Tortoise, My Bloody Valentine
and Spacemen 3 using bleak and minimal arrangements to gorgeous effect.
Nathan Burton – Drawing from influences such as Buckley, Dylan,
the Beatles and many other simplistic songwriters.
Burton defines his back to basics approach as 'sometimes songwriting
is about what to leave out of a song. Hiding behind nothing but an
acoustic guitar, this songwriter’s shell has broken and what appears
to have hatched into the outside world is a very obvious talent.
