Placebo announce new Brixton Date
PLACEBO are pleased to announce a second date at Brixton Carling Academy on Tuesday March 2nd after selling out the venue the day before. Tickets are on sale as of Thursday January 8th 2004. Details can be found at the band's website link
The band return with the release of a reworked version of 'English SummerRain' through Hut Recordings on February 23rd. It is the fourth single to be lifted from their acclaimed fourth album 'Sleeping With Ghosts', which has now sold over 1.1 million copies worldwide.
The single precedes the release of a full length DVD recorded at a sold out Bercy in Paris in front of 18,000 people. Entitled 'Placebo – Soulmates Never Die – Live In Paris', the DVD will be released March 8th. It includes additional documentary footage of the band on the road throughout 2003 as they undertook their mammoth world tour.
