Dogs dying all over the country

Dogs Die In Hot Cars new limited edition EP “Man eats Man” is released on Feb 16th, in the midst of a nationwide tour.

Dogs Die In Hot Cars, who recently signed a worldwide deal with V2, have recorded an EP as their debut release for the label. The EP released on 9th February, limited to 1000 copies, features four new tracks ‘Man Bites Man’, ‘Queen Of The Pumpkin Plukes’, ‘Nobody Teaches Life Anything’ and ‘Pastimes & Lifestyles’. In addition there will be a limited to 500 copies 7” vinyl which includes ‘Man Bites Man’ and ‘Queen Of Pumpkin Plukes’.

The EP is the follow-up to their debut limited edition single ‘I Love You ‘Cause I Have To’, which sold out its limited run, received multi play’s on Radio One, was B-listed at XFM and was Zoe Balls ‘Single Of The Week’.

Dogs Die In Hot Cars are Craig Macintosh (lead vocals/guitar), Gary Smith (guitars /bv’s), Lee Worrall (bass), Ruth Quigley (keyboards/bv’s) and Laurence Davey (drums).

The band, originally from St.Andrew’s, Fife, now living together in a very large house in Glasgow, have had an amazing year and are on the verge of signing their publishing deal amid yet another massive A&R scrum, are still only in their early 20’s!

They are currently in the studio recording their debut album with legendary producers Clive Langer and Alan Winstanley (Dexy’s Midnight Runners/Madness/The Smiths/David Bowie).

Dogs Die In Hot Cars have already been confirmed for a live Radio One session from Maida Vale studios for Steve Lamacq on 16th February.

This year Dogs Die In Hot Cars performed at T-In-The-Park, toured with the 22:20’s and played dates with Feeder, Shack and Athlete.
