Three Gigs – Three Venues
In support of their forthcoming single 'Catch Me Up', Gomez are happy to announce three exclusive low-key gigs at three out of town Barfly venues. These up close and personal shows are made even more special by the fact that the band will perform semi-acoustically; in a unique opportunity to see them in an intimate setting before they head out on their extensive UK tour in May.
The dates are as follows:
8th March – Barfly Cardiff
9th March – Barfly Liverpool
10th March – Barfly (Fibbers) York
Ticket Price: £10
Tickets available from link
Tel: 0870 907 0999
The band have just returned from a huge tour of the States playing to sell out crowds in the likes of New York's Irving Plaza and San Francisco's legendary Filmore venue. They're back to promote the new single, 'Catch Me Up' out on 8th March through Hut Recordings and their fourth album 'Split The Difference' which is scheduled for release in late May.
For the first time, Gomez recruited outside help on this album in the form of producer Tchad Blake, who's worked with everyone from Tom Waits to Crowded House. The result? A straight-forward (in Gomez terms) down the line rock 'n' roll album, oozing layer upon layer of bluesy rock riffs, and trademark vocal harmonies. The Barfly gigs offer the first chance for fans to hear the new material.
In the words of vocalist and guitarist Tom Gray: “We're back from outer space with a big grin on our face”.
