Straight Off The Beef Present
Kings Have Long Arms + Roger + Special Guests
After a fantastically well received Xmas eve performance at the renowned
Club Suicide, Kings Have Long Arms return to play a comparatively small date
at Jabez Clegg next Wednesday. In a whirlwind of hype Kings Have Long Arms
sparked furthermore interest in a series of dates supporting I Am Kloot at
the Night and Day last month. The act’s frantic stage antics mixed with
clever electronica is something that just has to be seen. Whilst Roger,
under rated favourites of the I-D and the NME, (“Masterly and Essential”-
Manchester Music) blend subtler synth with magnetic vocals that have proved
an intriguing live show during Back in Fashion at the Autobahn- Canal
Street. There’s rumoured to be surprise support and with DJ’s till late,
this means everyone intends to make this a celebration of all things funky
in Manchester, and aim to break to the Manchester’s stereotypical Indie boy
image.
For a night that looks like it’s going to try and push some boundaries be
sure to get your tickets quick as they are going fast.
£5 adv from Piccadilly Box Office and Jabez Clegg.
