Haven Rock Against Racism

Haven have announced details of a one off acoustic show on 23rd March 2004 at London's Borderline where they will be joined by some very special surprise guests. The show is part of a soon to be launched weekly Rock Against Racism night at the London venue which will feature hotly tipped bands along with a number of established artists. Tickets for the event will be priced at £4 and the band will be on stage at midnight.

The event follows Rock Against Racism's Love Music Hate Racism event at London's Astoria on 16th March which features the likes of the Libertines, Buzzcocks and 80's Matchbox B-Line Disaster.

Love Music Hate Racism is an established national campaign, which has helped organise over 60 events in the last year – from last year's 30,000-strong Manchester LMHR carnival which featured Ms Dynamite and Doves, to a national tour of up-and-coming indie bands, to Burnley's most multiracial music event in many years at which the likes of Basement Jaxx and Tim Westwood performed. Each event aims to promote unity, bringing together black and white, young and old, to celebrate multiculturalism and to prove that mixing cultures via music is far more fun than suspicion and violence.

Meanwhile Haven have announced details of a number of Exclusive Free Acoustic Launches to coincide with the release of their second album All For A Reason on March 29th 2004.
